Give Your Child the Gift of Music and More
Is your child showing an interest in learning the guitar?
Are you looking for an activity that builds confidence and focus while still being enjoyable?

The Benefits of Guitar Lessons
By studying the guitar with me, your child will gain much more than musical skills. They will learn:
-
How to learn anything more effectively and efficiently.
-
How to practice with a purpose to maximise their results.
-
How to understand the relationship between effort and result.
-
How to be more organised, structured, and use their time wisely.
A Note From Me
I want you to know that…
I am a father of an 8-year-old boy, so I truly understand the challenges parents face — juggling school runs, activities, homework, and still finding ways to keep children engaged. That’s why I make guitar lessons both fun and rewarding, giving children a creative outlet while building skills that benefit them far beyond music.
For Younger Children
Lessons are designed to be fun and engaging while gently guiding them to develop good habits.
These early skills boost confidence, focus, and a love of learning — both in music and everyday life.
For Older Children
I offer guidance and mentoring to help them become more organised in their practice and more effective in their learning.
These valuable life skills will benefit them not just in music, but in school and beyond.
The First Guitar Lesson: What to Expect
Your child’s comfort and safety are my top priority, so I ask parents to stay for the entire lesson.
You’ll also play a key role in supporting home practice — from tuning up the guitar and setting up the music stand to creating the right practice environment.
The first lesson is free, giving us a chance to get to know each other. I’ll also advise on the best guitar for your child based on their age and height.
Safeguarding and DBS Certification
I hold a fully enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, giving parents and students peace of mind that lessons take place in a safe and professional environment. Safeguarding is a top priority, and I’m committed to creating a supportive space where learners of all ages can enjoy music and progress with confidence.
Getting Started
To get your child started with guitar lessons, please email or call me to book the first session. My contact details are in the header of the website.
To help your child effectively, I would love to learn more about their personality and what excites them.
Do they enjoy playing video games, watching particular films, or have other hobbies? Knowing these things allows me to design a learning strategy that is tailored specifically to them.
I would also like to know what they find tricky or struggle with. Perhaps they lack confidence in some areas, and learning the guitar could help give them a boost.
