I’d be delighted to offer you a free, no-obligation trial guitar lesson.
To book your session, please contact me using the email or phone number below.
To make sure you get the most out of your first lesson, it would be really helpful if you could share a little information in advance. This allows me to tailor the lesson to your needs and create a more personalised experience:
-
Have you ever played any instrument before?
-
What are your top three challenges with guitar at the moment?
-
What kind of music do you enjoy, and what are some of your favourite songs?
-
Are you learning on acoustic, electric, or classical guitar?
-
Are there any other aspects of your playing you’d like help with?
I look forward to meeting you and helping you become the guitar player you want to be!
✨ It only takes one free trial to start your journey — why not book today?
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
It’s normal to have a few questions before booking your first guitar lesson. Here are some of the most common ones that parents and students ask me:
Q: Is the trial lesson really free?
Yes, absolutely. There’s no cost and no obligation to continue unless you’d like to book further lessons.
Q: How long is the free trial lesson?
The trial lesson lasts around 60 minutes for adults and 30 minutes for children, giving us enough time to get to know each other and cover some basics.
Q: Do I need to own a guitar before my first lesson?
It’s best if you bring your own guitar if you have one, but if not — don’t worry! You’re welcome to use one of mine during the trial. I can also guide you on the best options for beginners. If your child is very young, they can try my excellent Rodrigo ½-size guitar before you invest in buying one.
Q: Do you teach both children and adults?
Yes — I work with learners of all ages, from primary school children through to adults of every level.
Q: What styles of music can I learn?
I teach classical, acoustic, and electric guitar (including rock and blues). We can explore a wide range of styles — from pop and rock to fingerstyle and classical pieces.
Q: Where are lessons held?
Lessons take place at my home studio, 24 Fairfield Way, KT19 0EF, near Epsom and Ewell. It’s easy to reach from Stoneleigh, Worcester Park, New Malden, Ashtead, Chessington, Banstead, and Surbiton. There’s always plenty of free parking available, so it’s very convenient to get here.
Q: Do you teach online lessons as well?
Absolutely. I also offer online guitar lessons, which are ideal if you’d prefer to learn from the comfort of your own home. I teach students from different countries as well as across the UK. Even some of my local students occasionally choose online lessons for convenience or due to logistics.
